Building a house around your timing.

You’ve finally made the decision to buy a new home instead of a resale. Congratulations! Now you’re asking, “What’s next?” And we ask you, “What’s your timing?” Basically, that’s what it comes down to—what type of time frame do you have to work with? And depending on your answer, we provide you with your options. We work around you. You are at the core of building your new home, and what we create must work within your timeframe and budget. Let’s say you have a bit of time to build your home. With about a six month lead time, Stylecraft Builders can build your new home starting from the ground up. You’ll choose your own lot and then work with our designers to find the best new home plan to work with that property. Then the fun part—you choose the options that you want in your new home, whether it’s the color of the granite counter tops in the kitchen or a separate shower/garden tub in the master bath.

But what if you need your new home a bit quicker? We can help you with what’s called a “Shelved Spec”. The lot and the plan are both pre-chosen but the customer may make selections. "Shelved Specs" can be completed a month sooner.

If you’ve just moved to the area for a new job or are starting a new family, you may have an urgency to be in your new home sometime in the next three months. Our best fit for you would be one of our preexisting “Showcase Homes”, which are already under construction. You may have fewer options for customizing the interior, but you will meet the needs of being in a new home within a tight timeframe.

*Inventory homes and “shelved specs” may still be personalized based on the levels of completion on the individual home. Selections may be made on the remaining items not already completed on the home at the time of contract. Upgrade costs may apply for certain selections; contact your local Sales Executive for more details.

East Bryan - New roads, new school, new shopping areas, and a new home.

Bryan, Texas is a great example of an economy on the move again. In 2008, James Earl Rudder High School opened the doors of its brand new facility to about 600 ninth and tenth graders and expects to have about 1,250 students in grades 9-12 enrolled by 2012. Just down the road is a new road—really the widening of the Old Reliance Road—which began last December in order to accommodate the undeniable growth that his happening in this community of about 67,000 residents. As the area continues to grow—including new businesses moving to the area, like Target, Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, and Kroger’s—we knew that developing new homes in a growing and flourishing community made sense for our customers.

New homebuyers who are considering where to raise their family, or connect with a vibrant community that is rich in history as well, want the added convenience of prime location. They also want the peace of mind that their new house will be their home for a long time. Siena, on the east side of Bryan, is a new community with French Country and Tuscan-styled homes ranging from 1,100 to more than 2,000 square feet. Within the community, there is a swimming pool, shaded pavilion, walking and biking trails, and a peninsula pavilion. Just off Old Reliance Road, Siena is minutes away from the new high school, shopping, and the excitement that is happening with Bryan’s economy.

Imagine being able to build your new home in a prime location that you know will give you many years of special memories. If you’re ready to begin a new life in an up and coming town, email us here at Stylecraft Builders to learn more about how we can help you to build your new home.

Great news for the new home market.

The Houston Business Journal is reporting that new home sales are growing again in the United States, and here in Texas, one might be cautiously optimistic that this trend signals a bright future for the new homes industry. According to the U.S. Department of Commerce, new home sales grew by nearly 27 percent from February to March this year, one of the largest nationwide gains to occur in 50 years. Some of those statistics are being credited to the better weather, now that spring is here, as well as the fact that new home buyers have been cashing in on the government’s homebuyer tax credit that just expired at the end of last month. So what does all this good news mean to you if you’re considering the purchase of a new home? Clearly now is the time to buy. Buyer confidence is greater and with each day, less risk is involved because the real estate market is becoming stronger.

Here in Texas, the real estate market has weathered the economic storm of the past few years better than many states in the country. But, with the nationwide rise in home buying we can only expect that our stable housing situation will become even stronger in the months and years to come—good news for the people who are thinking of investing in a home here, To learn more how to begin planning for your new home, email us today.

On a side note: B-CS MLS has recorded 93 more sales for first 4 months of 2010 than 2090. Market improving; up 18.2% over 2009!
