According to many financial and investment advisors, buying a new home in a neighborhood with good schools makes smart real estate investment sense—even if you don’t have school-age children. Of course, if you do have kids in elementary, middle, or high school, considering the schools rankings in communities where you are thinking of buying a new home is a natural. Stylecraft Builders is pleased to be one of 12 builders to join the Builders Blitz 2010 challenge, which begins July 19th. Together with other builders and a crew of volunteers, we'll be building five new homes, from the ground up, in the Angels Gate subdivision in Bryan. This subdivision has been entirely built by Habitat for Humanity volunteers.

If you’ve ever watched “Extreme Makeover”, you’ve probably marveled at their ability to build a new home in a week. Imagine if that pace was increased to not just one home, but five, and in just five days! Builders Blitz 2010 is making it happen here!

Every year, the Bryan-College Station (BCS) Home Builders Association partners with BCS Habitat for Humanity to pull off this amazing feat. Stylecraft Builders is pleased to be one of 12 builders to join the Builders Blitz 2010 challenge, which begins July 19th. Together with other builders and a crew of volunteers, we’ll be building five new homes, from the ground up, in the Angels Gate subdivision in Bryan. This subdivision has been entirely built by Habitat for Humanity volunteers.

The event kicks on at 7 a.m. on July 19th with a sunrise ceremony at Emil’s Court. The event is open to the public, who are encouraged to see the start of this community transformation. Five days later, on July 23 at 5 p.m., we will reconvene at Emil’s Court for the Home Dedications Ceremony, where five families will receive the keys to their new homes.

Volunteers are welcome to join the construction. The orientation will take place on July 6th at BCS Habitat for Humanity
