Yowell Ranch in Killeen to Participate in National Night Out
Residents of Yowell Ranch in the Killeen/Fort Hood area have
an opportunity to join forces with neighborhoods all across the nation by
participating in a night out designed to unite neighborhoods against criminal
activity and drug abuse. Tuesday, October 2nd, has been declared the
“29th Annual National Night Out.”
Stylecraft Builders has officially registered YowellRanch to participate in this event designed to raise crime and drug prevention
awareness, strengthen morale and relationships in the neighborhood and with
local law officials, create support and participation in local anticrime
efforts, and send a message to criminals that the neighborhood is organized and
fighting back.
In honor of this night, residents are encouraged to lock
their doors, turn on all outside lights, and spend the evening outside getting
to know the neighbors. This is a wonderful opportunity to organize cookouts,
block parties, games, and more! Special visitors from the police and fire
departments will be on hand to interact with the residents and answer any
questions. In addition, McGruff the Crime Dog will make a special appearance. This
is an excellent opportunity to take a stand and unite against crime, while
having a wonderful time!
