Being just minutes away from Fort Hood, our Nation’s largest military installation, it is inevitable that Stylecaft Builders’ residents in The Landing and Yowell Ranch subdivisions will have the opportunity to celebrate big this 4th of July. Two of the largest celebrations in this area include the Independence Day Celebration at Hood Stadium and the 89th Annual 4th of July Celebration & PRCA Rodeo, a short distance away in the neighboring town of Belton.  

The Celebration at Hood Stadium on July 4th is from 6-10 pm and is free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to come early and enjoy the music and fun. There will be a live DJ and performances by Crossfire Brass Band and Warrior’s Call. The 4th of July Celebration & PRCA Rodeo events begin on Tuesday, July 2nd and culminate Saturday, July 6th. There will be plenty of opportunities to celebrate with a kick off Bar-B-Q, rodeo, carnival, parade, and festival. The parade, in particular, is a must-see event, rich in history and tradition dating back to 1850 when the first patriarchs marched through downtown.  Today, spectators from across the state gather to watch the procession of floats, bands, decorated bicycles, classic cars, and rodeo riders that are so impressive it has been named by USA Today as one of the nations, “Top Ten Places to Fly Your Flag on the 4th.” For a complete schedule of events and more details about all the Independence Day fun, visit the Rodeo Belton website.
