A Fall “Spring-Cleaning” in Killeen/Fort Hood



For those Killeen/Fort Hood area residents who enjoy a good house cleaning and purging, you’re in luck! The city of Killeen is offering a program called “Killeen Up! In October.” Residents will be able to take advantage of free curbside pickup of bulky trash items on specified Saturdays during the month of October (for a list of the times and Saturday collection schedule, visit the official city of Killeen website at www.killeentexas.gov). Even items such as furniture, brush, and appliances are eligible. With this service available, it makes it the perfect month to move in to a brand new Stylecraft home in Yowell Ranch since you won’t have to worry about how to dispose of all those moving boxes!

What a great idea! We do this about twice a year to our house and our storage unit! We usually move things from the house to our self storage in Santa Monica, then after a few years, we throw it out. It's just our little system we have and the storage unit helps a lot. Again this is great that the town is doing this. It's such a great idea.
