Summer Nights in Killeen/Fort Hood/Harker Heights





The city of Killeen has provided parents with an answer to their children’s age old summer time question, “What is there to do? I’m bored!” Stylecraft Builders’ families and residents living in the neighborhoods of Yowell Ranch and The Landing will be able to take advantage of the Killeen Parks and Recreation Departments’ “Hot Summer Nights Movie and Concert Series.”
This summer series began in late May, and will continue

showcasing fun movie and concert events every Friday night until Friday, July 26th. The concerts and pre-movie activities start at 8 p.m. at the Killeen Amphitheater located at 2201 E. Veterans Memorial Blvd.  Snacks and concessions can be purchased at the events, but make sure to bring a blanket and chair!

This Friday night, there will be a showing of the popular movie, “The Hunger Games.”  For a sneak peak to get you excited, check out this movie trailer. (Parents, please be aware this movie is rated PG-13. There will be other PG movies throughout the summer that may be more suitable for younger children.)
